In Earth Systems we are going to take a visual and hands on approach to science. We will start out in space and then move into what makes Earth so special. Science is best learned through doing and participation. Points will be given on assignments for doing your best.
I have great expectations for each of you. If you miss a day in class you first must visit this webpage to see what you have missed, print the assignment(s) off and work on them before coming to see me. This will save both of us time and unnecessary work.
Rules:
1. One person talks at a time-BE RESPECTFUL
1st- I will stand next to you
2nd- Talked to in the hall and I call home (which I hate)
3rd- Asked to leave class and work on an essay
2. Be prepared-bring your notebook and pencil to class
No hallpasses will be given

Test Retakes: You can retake a test as many times as needed, however, to retake a test you must present me with the notes before I give you a test. They will be on my website. After each test we will hand in notes so realize you may need to copy the notes more than once if you need to retake a test.
The Key to Success in School and Jobs is WORK!!!
1. Every piece of work is a portrait of the one who produced it. We should be motivated by a higher standard than simply getting a C-. What we do reflects on us.
2. Invest in your personal developement. Use your time wisely. View your current situation as a stepping stone to where you want to be.
3. Give full honest effort. Don’t settle for just passing. If you made me feel that it was your best then you will be graded as such.
4. Set goals. Have a purose and work toward it. I don’t care what your goal is just work towards it.
